All our flour is stone milled either on farm or at Oldland  Windmill, Hassocks. Originally we planned to mill all our wheat at Oldland but in view of covid restrictions and the logistics of being totally at the mercy of the wind together with the huge increase in popularity of heritage wheats meant that this year we bought and installed our own mill. After much research we bought a horizontal stone mill of the Danish type and we have coverted an old building on the farm to a milling and bagging station. It is being commissioned at present (Nov 20) and will be in full production shortly when we will be able to offer the full range of our wheats as flour.
